Google's Blogspot allows hosting without ads, just like Tripod, only with Tripod I have to pay like $5 a month for it. Not unreasonable at all, but hey, now I can take that $5 and... download a couple Rock Band songs or something.

Tripod is a great place to make a website, if you've ever thought about making one. The only objections I have with Tripod's SiteBuilder are so specific and technical that they pretty much don't matter except to people like me who are a little too anal-retentive for their own good.

The new website, titled "Stupidity Should Be Illegal" after everyone's favorite story, will be slowly rebuilt from the ground up, with each story and article posted one-by-one. This gives me a chance to rewrite all the old stories (I'm a much better writer than I was when I started writing them two and a half years ago) to make them more interesting. Or just interesting at all, in some cases.

I suppose I could also mention that I write for my university's student newspaper, which publishes an issue every Tuesday and Friday. I usually try to have an article in each issue, and an updating collection of everything I've published can be found here:
